Programme Justification
Uganda’s growing economy demands a skilled workforce in project development. This programme addresses the need for individuals who can write effective project proposals to address community needs in areas like education, sanitation, girls’ education, women’s empowerment, gender-based violence reduction, and financial literacy projects aimed at boosting household income.
The program aims to develop a pool of capable, competent, and committed project workers for technical and operational roles in both the government and private sectors.

This programme aims to:
(i) Equip learners with project planning and entrepreneurial management skills.
(ii) Explore the principles and guidelines for successful project proposals.
(ii) Equip learners with the knowledge and skills to write impactful project proposals that improve community well-being.
(iv) Prepare learners for lifelong learning.
