Admission Criteria

Admission into any college Diploma program can be through any of the following two avenues;

a) Direct Entry Scheme

Candidate must have: Five passes at U.C.E Examination (or equivalent) and at least One

principal pass and Two subsidiary passes at the same sitting of the Uganda Advanced

Certificate of Education (U.A.C.E) Examination or its equivalent.

b) Certificate Holders Scheme

A Certificate from a relevant field with at least a credit from a recognized institution and three

passes at UCE in one sitting or its equivalent.

Programme Duration

All the college Diploma Programs duration is two years divided into four Semesters. Each year

of study will have two semesters and each semester shall be composed of 17 weeks, i.e 15

weeks for lectures and 2 weeks for examinations. The whole course shall be covered within

four semesters.
